Dress up like a pirate, bring your treasure, raise money for kids’ brain cancer research.
Pirate Day is a fun way to raise awareness and much needed funds for childhood brain cancer research. Pirate Day 2021 is Friday 14 May, but register to host your dress up and fundraiser on any day that works for you.
Pirate Day was established by the Colgan Family to support childhood brain cancer research following the diagnosis of their son Conor when he was 5 years-old. Read their story.
In 2021, Pirate Day will be managed solely by The Kids’ Cancer Project with funds raised going towards research into finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for childhood brain cancer.
Since 2015, more than $360,000 has been raised with thanks to school groups, early learning centres and the businesses who participate.
