    Event Details

Following the incredible success of our inaugural event in 2022 when we raised $130,000, we are delighted to announce we will be doing it again!

    Date: Saturday 17 June 2023
    Where:  The Tiller Farm, Yallingup
Time: 6.00 pm until 11.30 pm
    Dress: Black tie

You will be mesmerised from the moment you enter the room, magically set-up for a fine-dining South West culinary experience.  With a night of great food and wine, sommelier table service, auction items you will want to bid for, and fabulous entertainment – it’s a stage set for us to have fun while we raise funds for a very special cause.

Your MC: The wonderful Angie Ayers, Triple M South West breakfast radio host.

    The Auction!

let’s see – how many of us would love to find an excuse to cruise on one of the beautiful True North adventures?

This evening, you can!  TRUE NORTH Adventure Cruises has donated this amazing trip for our auction.

A passage for two guests on a Coral Atoll Cruise 5, leaving Broome on 26-31 October 2023 on TRUE NORTH II.

WOW! A 5-night adventure to the Rowley Shoals!

Choose the best, Choose True North!

An adventure with the multi-awarded True North Adventure Cruises is not just another expedition cruise!

TRUE NORTH and TRUE NORTH II are purpose-built to go where big ships cannot and we explore even further in dedicated adventure boats. Most itineraries also feature an onboard helicopter. Daily activities can include snorkelling, diving, fishing, mud crabbing, hiking, scenic tours, picnics, natural history appreciation, cultural events, and helicopter excursions.

Itineraries are limited to small groups (36 guests aboard TRUE NORTH and 20 guests aboard TRUE NORTH II) and an Australian crew chaperones every experience. We also have a revered reputation for dining experiences.

For more than 30 years we have immersed our guests in stunning landscapes, coral wonderlands, unique cultural opportunities, and extraordinary encounters with nature. When you join us onboard, you will soon start to discover why our guests consistently respond with “that’s the best holiday I have ever had!”

Nina’s Fine Diamond and Jewellery and Idée Fixe feature at the diamond sparkling corner.

Buy your glass of sparkling on arrival with a chance to win something amazing donated by Nina’s.  (We are keeping this a surprise!).

Bina Maya Retreat Yallingup, Private Properties – Wildwood Grove, Vasse Felix Restaurant and Winery

Have joined us again this year by donating fabulous items for our auction.
And, Margaret River’s finest vineyards are lining up with some wonderful wines for the silent auction, plus we have LOTS of surprises.

    Your Entertainment

Aquila features some of Perth’s most in demand musicians, forming a unique ensemble of string quartet and drums. Performing original arrangements, Aquila smash together the two worlds of classical and contemporary in a way neither would expect!

Mark will join Aquila for a section of the evening bringing his energy onstage through his romantic ballads to his gritty high energy blues; a performer who defies definition! Mark is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.  He will make sure you’re on the dance floor too!

The funds raised so far would not have been possible without our major sponsors and the support from so many local businesses. Within 24-hours of our first Rhapsody for Cancer, every one of these companies committed to Rhapsody for Cancer 2023.

Our thanks to you all for your kindness and generosity.

    We are delighted to include

TRUE NORTH as one of our 2023 Rhapsody for Cancer sponsors

Rhapsody for Cancer 22 is a wrap!!

What an amazing night was experienced by 97 very generous and fortunate people who spent six hours enjoying amazing orchestral music, elite food, stunning wine, great beer, fantastic jazz and an amazing fellowship. The result was $130 000 raised for childhood brain cancer research. Wow!

We have two groups of people to say a big thank you to.

Firstly those 97 people who attended. Your support and generosity were what made the night a huge success. You can’t have a party without partygoers and what a great bunch each and every one of you was.

Secondly  the event was such a financial success because so many generous people and businesses donated their product and services to the stage where the entire night was funded. So, to the following a huge thank you and also an acknowledgement that within 24 hours of the event every one of these companies have committed to Rhapsody for Cancer 23.

    Tiller Farm

George and Kayleigh what a presentation of stunning food and a unique location. You were there at the start and have committed for the life of the event, we can’t thank you enough. And to your suppliers who supported with so much, donating meat and fish, furniture, and flowers – thank you for supporting us with this event. LuxEvents: Dave and Kirsty, you turned on the sound and lighting creating a breath-taking atmosphere, our audience were immediately transported to the dinner and dance venue that we had all imagined.

    Nina’s Fine Diamond Jewellery

Nina’s Fine Diamond Jewellery: Deb and Steve helped us create the sparkling/diamond corner by donating an incredible Fancy Yellow Brown Radiant Cut, Argyle Champagne Diamond.  This was an absolute hit as our guests purchased a glass of Vasse Felix Idée Fix for $100, each with an opportunity to win the diamond.

    Forester Estate

Kevin and Jenny didn’t bat an eye when approached and were there on the night to see their wines enjoyed by so many.

    Brash Road Vineyard

Ian and Ben thanks for great beer and great support.

    Philharmonic South West Orchestra

Peter, Sabine and David you made the night ’a night of culture’ and it was appreciated by every person in the room. Simply fantastic. Thank you to every single member of the 50-piece orchestra that practised and dedicated their time to make this event so magical – we can’t wait to see you in 2023!

    Mr&Mrs Smith

The reason so many of us were on the dance floor, fabulous music and singing to take us through the night.

    Additional Thanks

To our MC, Angie Ayers, you were perfect – thank you Angie! And to our volunteer sommeliers, and staff who gave their time so generously, thank you!

And finally, but certainly not least!! To all the amazing people who donated the WONDERFUL auction items.  The auction raised $70,000 – this is an incredible amount.
